Volara^®

Volara^® is a versatile, closed-cell, cross-linked polyethylene foam widely used in orthotics and prosthetics for soft padding in braces, splints, and prosthetic sockets. It offers a smooth, skin-friendly feel with excellent cushioning, heat-formability, and the ability to self-bond when hot. Durable, flexible, and non-absorbent, Volara^® provides a comfortable interface between the skin and rigid devices while protecting against pressure and friction. Easy to cut, mold, and grind, it is available in various thicknesses and densities, including 4E (soft) for gentle padding and 6A (medium) for added support. Sold in rolls and sheets for a wide range of custom applications.
